Hello folks! I've been shopping at the sewing studio again and thought I'd share some fall wardrobe plans as we head into busy, busy holidays.

I wanted something that would be classic, but also prolong the autumn colors and feelings so that I wouldn't feel rushed into December. I found this UH-mazing French knit. It's lacy, meshy, drapey, and super luxurious. Sewing Studio owner, Karleen, got it from a buyer for Nordstrom. It's not everyday you get to peak inside the minds of fashion insiders, and this a steal.

I bought a few yards of this amazing fabric and I hope you love my fall sewing plans. It drapes perfectly for both a shell for under jackets and as a swing-cardigan. At 56 inches wide, I'll be able to use the leftovers to whip up an infinity scarf.

Here's Karleen's power blouse for under smart blazers at work. Really quite stunning.

Sticking with the work theme, I'm definately making myself a new Jasika Blazer in this ivory wool from Milly. French Nordstom Lace and Bergdorf's Milly wool? This is my high-end look for work and when I need to step it up for client meetings. The wool goes with everything, and there's something about a woman that doesn't fear wearing white year-round that instill confidence in clients.

For mid-week office days, I'm using this thick NY designer flannel in a long Kalle Tunic to pair with the French knit infinity scarf and some over-the-knee boots. This will make after-work errands so much more bearable since I'll feel so very chic with minimal effort.

On Fridays, I like to dress down, but not too casual. I found this velveteen corduroy and will make a pair of dressy Morgan jeans that will take me easily into Happy Hour with the crew.

Some Sew House 7 Free Range slacks in any of the amazing rayon/tencel jacquards would be incredible; I'm loving this knit combined with the tobacco colored options in the shop.

Come weekends and you'll find me in either this amazing tencel/cotton twill or some super soft French terry pants.

Speaking of this French terry...I'm going to have to pick up a few colors. I played with it in the shop, and it's thick, soft, and very high quality bamboo knit. I think I'm going to need the Heather and Ruby colors too. I mean... it's fall, and I must keep cozy!

The French knit is on sale right now for only $9/yard, and when it's gone, it's gone forever! Add some to your fall sewing plans, I promise, you won't be disappointed!
